Townsend Janney

Townsend Janney, MSW, RBT, (she/her), is an early intervention developmental therapist with a passion for social justice. She earned her Master of Social Work from Gallaudet University, where she had the privilege of learning about disability from a cultural framework. Townsend is deeply committed to ensuring full communication access for all members of the community. She lives in Washington, D.C., and spends her free time cheering on her favorite sports teams, watching nature documentaries, and exploring new coffee shops. Townsend is continually learning more about augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and is excited to further explore the topic of natural language acquisition.
