On average, our schedule includes over six hours of live and interactive CE hours every week. It depends on your state. Some licensing boards require SLPs to earn a certain number of live and interactive CE hours each renewal cycle. Others may not. These rules are designed to make sure you are engaging in real time with presenters and peers.
ASHA’s certification maintenance standards require 30 PDHs every three years, but these hours do not need to be live and interactive. Within those 30 hours, ASHA requires at least 2 PDHs in DEI, 1 PDH in Ethics, and 2 PDHs in supervision if you wish to supervise. State requirements may differ, which is why it is important to check with your licensing board. We make sure you can find all of these required topics in our live and interactive course schedule, as well as in our on-demand library.

To receive credit for a live course, the course quiz must be completed the same day as the live presentation. If the quiz is completed later, the course will not count for live credit.

Are Speech Therapy PD courses considered CEUs, CEs, or PDHs?
All of the above. ASHA uses the terms CEU and PDH (Professional Development Hours), many states use CE hours, and most SLPs call them CEUs. Our courses meet all of these requirements.
Do live podcast courses count as live CE hours?
Yes. When you attend a podcast course live and complete the quiz, it counts as a live and interactive CE hour (or PDH/CEU) because you can interact in real time.
