Shiree Harbick

Shiree Harbick, PhD, CCC-SLP, is a lecturer and clinical educator in speech-language pathology at James Madison University. Her clinical experience across various settings in the Shenandoah Valley shapes her research, which focuses on families with infants and enhancing clinical training in early intervention through the Facilitating Infant Responsiveness to Stimulate Talking (FIRST) Program—a community outreach initiative by the JMU Speech-Language Clinic and Infant and Toddler Language Lab. Actively involved in her state professional organization, Shiree serves as a trustee for the Communication Disorders Foundation of Virginia, helping to raise funds for graduate student scholarships. She is also passionate about supporting caregivers of individuals with complex communication needs across the lifespan and currently serves as the Past President of the Adagio House Board of Directors.
