Shari Gross

Shari A. Gross, MA, CCC-SLP, is a proud alumna of Brandeis University (B.A., 1988) and Kean University (M.A., 1995). She is a speech-language pathologist and certified elementary educator. Shari has worked as a speech-language specialist and elementary educator in both public and special education schools, and she began her private pediatric practice in 1998. She is the owner and director of the Child Achievement Center in Manalapan, New Jersey. She has served as a clinical supervisor and adjunct professor in the Communication Disorders Department at Kean University and as a clinical supervisor for the College of Health and Medical Sciences at Seton Hall University. She has also enjoyed supervising numerous graduate students in clinical placements. Shari was the speech-language pathologist for the Selective Mutism Group and has published nationally on selective mutism. She has provided continuing education on both selective mutism and auditory processing disorders. In addition to presenting for numerous public school districts, she has spoken at several conferences, including the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the New Jersey Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the Central Jersey Speech and Hearing Association.
