Shane Reed

Growing up in a military family, Shane Reed, MS, CCC-SLP, spent his childhood traveling before eventually settling in Oklahoma. His father was a pilot, and his mother was a reading specialist, both deeply committed to helping others succeed. As a child, Shane vividly remembers the joy he felt while working with his speech therapist on expressive language skills—an experience that planted the seed for his passion in the field of speech-language pathology. While his therapist nurtured his communication abilities, his mother instilled a love for literacy that shaped his academic foundation. He was surrounded by selfless individuals who dedicated their lives to empowering others, and he knew he wanted to follow in their footsteps.
