Samantha Miseta

Samantha Miseta, MS, OTR/L, is a pediatric occupational therapist serving neurodivergent children and their families in the Baltimore, MD area and founder of Rooted Beginnings. Since she was a small child, Samantha has always known she wanted to work with kids. She started out as an early childhood educator; however, she felt drawn to learning more about other ways she could support children outside of the classroom. She was soon introduced to occupational therapy and instantly fell in love. Since graduating in 2019 with her master's in occupational therapy from Towson University, Samantha has worked in pediatric clinic settings and, over the last 3 years, opened her own practice offering in-home/community-based OT. Her therapy approach mixes her training in DIR Floortime and principles of polyvagal theory, prioritizing relationships as a means of regulation and a driver for development.
