Rob Snow

Rob Snow

Guest
Rob is a native Ohioan who began his comedy and improvisation journey in the late 1990s after moving to Chicago, training at the famed Second City Theatre, Improv Olympic, and The Annoyance Theatre. In 2000, Rob stepped away from comedy to embrace the “real world,” marrying his wife, Ellen, and welcoming their first son, Charlie. In 2009, the Snows returned to Ohio, and Rob reignited his passion for comedy, performing open mics and guest sets while traveling for his day job. That same year, Rob and Ellen welcomed their second son, Henry, who was born with Down syndrome. The intersection of Rob’s love for comedy and his devotion to Henry has shaped his path ever since. In 2011, Rob created the first of three one-man shows, which he continues to perform nationally (www.weneedasign.net). He and Ellen also founded Stand Up For Downs, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through humor. In 2017, Rob launched The Improvaneer Method, where he serves as Chief Executive and occasionally co-directs—when the team lets him.
