Rik Lemoncello, PhD, CCC-SLP, is an associate professor in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Pacific University–Oregon. With 15 years of clinical experience, he specializes in adult, medical speech-language pathology. He has worked in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term acute care, and outpatient centers. He was trained in tracheostomy/ventilator management at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, MA. His current scholarship focuses on medical SLP, evidence-based practices, graduate student education, and cognitive rehabilitation.
