Regina Lemmon-Bush, PhD, CCC-SLP, earned her Ph.D. and M.S. from the University of South Carolina. Currently, she is a dean and professor at West Coast University. She has also taught at Columbia College in South Carolina as well as South Carolina State University. Her research interests are language, literacy, health literacy, and cultural competence.
She has worked as a school SLP, private practitioner, and therapist at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, SC. She’s also a past president of the South Carolina Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
She is known as a "BUILDER." She has built programs, resources, and people who have positively impacted others' lives. She was acknowledged for her work as the 2019 recipient of the South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities’ Excellence in Teaching award.
