Rachel Johnson

Rachel Johnson, Ph.D. CCC-SLP is an Associate Professor at Old Dominion University, where she serves as the speech-language pathology and audiology undergraduate program director. Her scholarship and research focus involves the implementation of person-centered care and AAC with persons who have acquired neurogenic communication disorders, investigating the cognitive and procedural aspects of learning, including the structure of practice, schedule of feedback, and motivation, focusing on optimizing communication, participation, self-efficacy, and quality of life.
