Paula V. Pineda, SLPD, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL, is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist with over 14 years of experience. Originally from Colombia, Paula has lived in New York City since 2001. She earned her Master’s degree from Adelphi University in 2011 and completed her clinical doctorate at Northwestern University in 2023. Paula specializes in early childhood and school-age populations, with a focus on caregiver coaching, culturally and linguistically responsive assessment and intervention, and trauma-informed care. She currently serves as Chief Clinical Supervisor at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she mentors graduate students and leads community-based partnerships to increase access to equitable speech and language services for diverse and underserved populations. Deeply committed to equity and inclusion in communication sciences and disorders, Paula is passionate about training future clinicians and advancing adult learning through reflective supervision and leadership development. Her work bridges clinical practice, education, and advocacy to support children and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
