Naomi Rodgers, PhD, CCC-SLP, is an assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Iowa. Her research explores the social and emotional dimensions of stuttering across the lifespan, with a particular emphasis on the change process in adolescents who stutter.
Dr. Rodgers draws inspiration from her personal experiences as a person who stutters and her professional background as a speech-language pathologist and stuttering support group leader. Her work bridges clinical insight with lived experience to advance understanding and support for individuals who stutter.
