Marion Leaman

Dr. Marion C. Leaman, PhD, CCC-SLP, is an Associate Professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where she is the Director and Principal Investigator of the ALL-CAN-Converse Aphasia Lab. Dr. Leaman’s research focuses on integrating principles of social interaction into aphasia therapy, improving connections with others, and providing people with aphasia opportunities for communicative agency and autonomy. She is the developer of ECoLoGiC-Tx, a conversation-based aphasia intervention. Currently, she is extending ECoLoGiC-Tx to teletherapy and group contexts, and to people with PPA and mild aphasia.
