Maggie Donaker

Maggie Donaker, MS, CCC-SLP, is a Medical Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in a range of diagnoses including dysphagia, speech and dysarthria, and cognitive-communication. She has worked in acute and subacute settings. Maggie attended Ohio University for her Bachelor of Science and received her Master of Science from Bowling Green State University. Due to her passion for providing an excellent standard of care, she has earned seven ASHA ACE Awards, which are given to those who complete over 70 contact hours of continuing education within a six-month period per year. Maggie was also a guest on The Swallow Your Pride Podcast Episode 117, which has been downloaded over 12,000 times. Maggie is a board member of the Dysphagia Outreach Project, a non-profit organization that provides services and supplies to those with dysphagia. She is a facilitator for Dysphagia Digest of Florida, the only swallowing support group supported by the National Foundation of Swallowing Disorders (NFOSD) in the state of Florida. Maggie is also looking forward to the publication of recent research and presenting at her state convention.
