Lisa Chattler

Lisa Chattler, MA, CCC-SLP, F-ASHA, is a Fellow of the California Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA), recognized for her outstanding clinical services, teaching, and service to CSHA and related organizations. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communication Disorders from California State University, Long Beach. In 1982, she joined the Los Alamitos Unified School District, where she served with distinction until her retirement in 2019 after 37 years of service. Throughout much of her career, Lisa also operated a private practice and worked as a clinician, instructor, and/or clinical supervisor for several institutions, including California State University, Long Beach; California State University, Fullerton; Chapman University; the Newport Speech and Language Center; and The Stepping Stones Group. Lisa has been actively involved with the CSULB Communication Disorders Advisory Board, the Pearson Publishing National Speech-Language Pathology Advisory Board, various ASHA committees, and numerous CSHA positions, including serving as Director of District 8. She has also presented at many ASHA and CSHA conventions.
