Lindsay Stevens, MA CCC-SLP, is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience in evaluating, treating, and managing feeding, swallowing, speech, language, and communication disorders. Specializing in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders, Lindsay had the honor of serving the western region’s most medically complex children for 16 years in the neonatal and cardiac intensive care units, acute care, outpatient, and rehabilitation programs at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. During her time at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Lindsay was the Clinical Specialist of Speech Pathology for the Rehabilitation Department, where she provided transdisciplinary clinical leadership and oversight for the Multidisciplinary Pediatric Feeding Program, now known as the Pediatric Feeding Disorders Clinic. In addition to treating medically complex children, Lindsay initiated the hospital’s transition to the International Dysphagia Diet, facilitated a systematic thickener reduction plan, trained staff, regularly conducted modified barium swallow studies, received training in fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing, and participated in multiple research opportunities and publications on the topics of feeding difficulties and dysphagia management. Lindsay also has experience providing feeding, swallowing, speech and language services in the home health and school setting. She is passionate about providing product and dysphagia education as the Medical Facilities Manager for Parapharma Tech.
