Linda Meyer, PhD, CCC-SLP, earned her BS and MS in Speech-Language Pathology and Special Education from Old Dominion University, and her PhD from Vanderbilt University. She began her career in Chesapeake Public Schools (VA) and has taught at universities in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia. Her clinical experience spans veterans’ hospitals, home health, acute care settings, and 30 years as Director of Communication Services at the Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center.
Linda has served on the SHAV Board in multiple leadership roles, including Vice President for Professional Affairs, Vice President for Speech-Language Pathology, President-Elect, and President. She is a SHAV Fellow and currently serves as Treasurer for the Communication Disorders Foundation of Virginia.
