Professor Leanne Togher, PhD, FSPAA, FASSBI, CPSP, is a full Professor at the University of Sydney and an NHMRC Professorial Research Fellow (Investigator Grant Leadership Level 3). Internationally recognized for her contributions to speech pathology, she has authored over 250 peer-reviewed journal articles and led groundbreaking work in communication treatments for individuals with brain injury.
Her clinical innovations include the development of TBI Express, TBI ConneCT, and the Social Brain Toolkit—programs designed to support people with brain injury, their families, carers, and community agencies. Professor Togher also serves as Director of *speechBITE*, an evidence-based practice resource for speech-language pathologists.
She is the incoming Chair of the International Brain Injury Association and currently serves as Chair of Brain Injury Australia, continuing her leadership in advancing research, advocacy, and clinical excellence in neurorehabilitation.
