Kyla Ettinger, MS, CCC-SLP, is a bilingual speech-language pathologist based in Oakland, California. She received her master’s degree from Columbia University in 2014 and has worked with children from birth to age 18 in hospitals, clinics, and preschool settings. Her specialty and personal passion is working with families of children ages 0–5, empowering caregivers through hands-on training in speech and language development.
Kyla and her husband, Ken, founded SpeakEasy Community, a resource for parents and professionals to improve speech and language in the critical early years. They launched the SpeakEasy: Home Speech Therapy app in July 2020 and are excited to use it to bring developmentally appropriate ideas, techniques, and evidence-based information to parents and educators around the world.
