Kristin Szymanek, MA, CCC-SLP is the Director of Rehabilitation Services at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She has 10 years of clinical experience as a pediatric speech-language pathologist, with over 8 years devoted to the pediatric oncology/hematology population. Her clinical and research interests emphasize rehabilitation for patients with posterior fossa syndrome and the comprehensive management of feeding and swallowing disorders in childhood cancer patients. Kristin has spoken nationally at conferences, developed multiple continuing education courses, and published several peer-reviewed articles. She finds great joy in mentoring students/young clinicians and engaging in dialogue about evidence-based strategies to elevate the clinical practice and better support our patients.
