Kristen Barba

Kristen Barba, MS, CCC-SLP, became an SLP because it seemed like the perfect way to mix her desire to work with kids and her love for language together. She has worked in both private practice settings and in elementary schools. She currently works as a school-based SLP with preschool and elementary school students. While she absolutely loves her career, she feels so strongly about not letting the life of a school-based SLP burn her out and commits to finding and creating therapy materials that can be used over multiple sessions with easy prep and with all of her groups. She enjoys literacy-based therapy and language therapy with younger kids, but above all, she enjoys treating phonological disorders.
