Kim Farinella, PhD, CCC-SLP, is currently a speech-language pathologist in various Arizona schools and presents nationally on the differential diagnosis and treatment of children with severe speech sound disorders and the implementation of interprofessional collaborative practice to improve treatment outcomes in schools. She completed her doctoral training at the University of Arizona and her postdoctoral fellowship in the Division of Speech Pathology in the Department of Neurology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
