Dr. Kelli A. Uitenham is a nationally certified medical speech-language pathologist and a highly respected and passionate public speaker. She owns Serenity Speech Therapy, a private Telepractice. Dr. Kelli is also the founder of Brain Talk Foundation, a nonprofit that raises awareness about different neurological and neurodegenerative conditions with a special focus on concussions, traumatic brain injuries, and CTE in athletes. She has over a decade of experience working with adult and geriatric populations, specializing in dementia, stroke rehabilitation, dysphagia, Parkinson's Disease, fluency, voice disorders, gender-affirming voice services, and accent modification. Dr. Kelli has worked in skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living facilities, hospital and home health settings, as well as travel speech therapy. She is licensed to practice in nine states, providing services in each via telehealth. She is also an adjunct professor and has taught at Shaw University, North Carolina A&T State University, St. John's University, and has worked as a clinical instructor for Purdue University. Dr. Kelli has been invited to speak on a wide range of topics, including traumatic brain injury, concussions, CTE in athletes, long COVID brain fog, dysphagia, aphasia, providing services via telehealth, etc. In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Kelli enjoys riding motorcycles, traveling, and spending time with her teacup Yorkie, Braxton.
