Katherine Leurck is the first to admit that raising a child with special needs is not easy. She considers it a journey from understanding to accepting, and finally to celebrating such a beautiful child. Her intent with this book is to share the voice, perspective, and inspiration of children with special needs, who have taught her so much. Katherine lives in Ohio with her husband, David, and their three children, who are all special in their own unique way.
