Kary Mirasola

Kary Mirasola, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist with more than 20 years of experience working in a pediatric hospital setting. Throughout her career, she has specialized in working with adolescents and has had the opportunity to work closely on interdisciplinary teams alongside psychologists, occupational and physical therapists, pediatricians, and advanced practice nurses, supporting school-age children and adolescents with complex communication, learning, and mental health needs. Kary has presented locally and nationally and is passionate about helping parents, teachers, and professionals better understand how language, learning, and mental health are deeply connected. She enjoys translating research and clinical experience into practical, accessible insights that support children across home, school, and healthcare settings. She recently launched her own company, Woven, Language + Learning, to focus her impact on adolescent learning and language beyond the hospital setting. Kary is thrilled to have the opportunity to share these experiences with the First Bite audience.
