Kara Jones, MA, CCC-SLP, CBIS, specializes in adult swallowing, communication, and cognition. She has experience in outpatient, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation settings. Kara currently works at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA. She is passionate about treating patients with head and neck cancer, as well as those with neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders.
She earned her master’s degree from SUNY University at Buffalo. Kara is a past president of the Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association (GSHA). She has presented at various state conventions and at ASHA in 2021 and 2022. She is also a recipient of the Dr. Robert A. Hull Leadership Award.
