Dr. JoAnne Cascia, EdD, CCC-SLP, is an assistant professor at Kean University in Union, NJ. Dr. Cascia's clinical experience is in pediatric language, with a specific focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She serves as the co-coordinator of the MA in Speech-Language Pathology program at Kean, as well as the co-coordinator of the new Neuro Allies Specialization Program. Her research has focused on executive function skills and empathy in individuals with ASD. She is actively involved in professional service as a board member of CAPCSD and a site visitor for the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA).
