Jen Biener, MS, CCC-SLP, received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY and returned to campus in 2018 to complete an Advanced Certification Program in Pediatric Dysphagia. Always eager to learn and collaborate, she is a 2-time ASHA ACE Award recipient and newly admitted PhD student in Health Science at Seton Hall University. She enjoys sharing her experience working with adults with developmental disabilities through lecturing for undergraduate and graduate dysphagia courses and presentations for regional, national, and international clinical audiences. Jen has also been selected for the ASHA Leadership Development Program Healthcare Cohort with goals of raising community awareness of dysphagia. She seeks opportunities to support her colleagues in implementing evidence-based dysphagia management and advocate for every patient’s quality of life through professional outreach and providing mobile flexible endoscopic swallow evaluations (FEES) with FEESible Swallow Solutions.
