Janice M. Wright is an assistant clinical professor at Ohio University, in Athens, Ohio. She is the Director of Clinical Education for speech pathology graduate students and supervises graduate students who provide assessments and intervention services at the on-campus feeding clinic. She teaches Pediatric Feeding Disorders, graduate-level Professional Issues, and the Multicultural Issues course. In addition, she is one of the founders and co-directors of the Botswana Interprofessional Service-Learning program, a site visitor for the Council of Academic Programs, and is a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the Ohio Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Her areas of interest are pediatric feeding disorders, the art of supervision, diversity, and inclusion. She has presented on these topics across the United States, in Taipei, Taiwan, and Botswana, Africa. She is also a certified trainer for the Bridges out of Poverty program, the National Mental First Aid program, the Not A Single Drop program, and the Diversity Essential program. Janice is the proud Nana of three grandsons, three grand cats, and 3 grand dogs.
