Heidi Liefer Moreland, MS, CCC-SLP, BCS-S, CLC, is a speech-language pathologist and feeding specialist with Thrive by Spectrum Pediatrics. A self-proclaimed “research geek,” Heidi also brings over 30 years of hands-on experience working with children, including 25 years specializing in pediatric feeding challenges across a variety of settings.
Drawing on her extensive training in communication, child development, and feeding and swallowing, Heidi helps children build a trusting relationship with food—one that supports skill development and emotional growth. She is passionate about guiding children and families toward joyful, healthy mealtime communication and habits that evolve with them over time.
Heidi works with families both virtually and in person. She has contributed to several publications, including the Responsive Feeding White Paper, Love Me, Feed Me: An Adoptive Family’s Guide to Responsive Feeding, and Case Studies in Pediatric Dysphagia. She is a frequent speaker on pediatric feeding treatment at national and international conferences.
