Emily Spitzer, AuD, is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of North Carolina and her Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University. Emily’s research focuses on improving outcomes for children and adults with cochlear implants, with a particular emphasis on musicians and individuals with residual hearing.
