Dr. Elliot Yoo is board certified in Pain Medicine as well as Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He recently joined Providence Portland to help support the mission of the Comprehensive Pain Program. Prior to joining, Dr. Yoo was a teaching faculty member at Massachusetts General Hospital and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital where his clinical interests included functional restoration through an interdisciplinary team treatment model as well as interventional pain management. He believes that chronic pain is best managed with a biopsychosocial, whole-person approach and hopes to be a resource for the Oregon pain population. Dr. Yoo also has a special interest in technology and innovation in health. When he is not working, Dr. Yoo enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters and practicing his table tennis loop shot.
