Crystal Sanford

Crystal Sanford, M.Ed., M.A. CCC-SLP is the owner, director, and lead advocate at the Sanford Autism Advocacy Group, LLC, a comprehensive consulting practice that specializes in empowering Autism families. Since 2016, soon after her first child was identified as autistic, Crystal has been training fellow Autism parents and caregivers on how to effectively advocate for the education their child deserves. Crystal has also written various articles, some published through national Autism foundations. She is also the creator of the Crystal Clear IEP ™ Course and the IEP Consultant Biz Builder Program ™, digital training platforms for parents, caregivers, and professionals to expand their special education knowledge. Crystal also continues to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with over 20 years of experience in public schools and the private sector. Currently, she and her team provide comprehensive communication evaluations, social skills groups, and more for students impacted by Autism through her second company, the Sanford Speech Therapy and Learning Center, Inc. When not supporting families and the community, Crystal enjoys spending “non-technology” time with her husband and two amazing daughters in mostly sunny San Diego, California. Crystal also enjoys walking for life, succulent gardening, and curling up with a good book.
