A South Carolina native, Clay, MS, CCC-SLP, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006 with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and has been practicing speech therapy since. He lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife, Lisa, and their three children: Denver, Kase, and Emma.
He currently teaches Augmentative and Alternative Communication at the Medical University of South Carolina, owns a private practice—Ready, Set, Talk—in Mount Pleasant, SC, and is the creator of Mister Clay on YouTube, a channel for children with language differences.
His life goal is to own and operate a clinic that doesn’t need to rely on insurance companies to exist.
