Claire Martin, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University in 2016 and her Master of Education degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of West Georgia in 2018. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Claire has experience working in the public schools (elementary, middle, and high school), teletherapy, and currently works in the outpatient pediatric setting at The Speech and Language Center in Harrisonburg, VA. Claire enjoys working with patients with autism, early language delays, and multiple disabilities, and is continuing to foster new-found passions with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Claire recently became engaged to her fiance, Mitch, in her favorite place, the Outer Banks. In her free time, Claire enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and a rescue pup. She enjoys traveling, concerts, reading, exercising, and spending time exploring the Shenandoah Valley.
