Casey Rovinski

Casey Rovinski, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, is a state-licensed, nationally certified pediatric speech-language pathologist, owner of Speak Outside The Box (SOTB), and parenting coach. She grew up in Rochester, NY, and currently resides in St. Petersburg, FL, with her soon-to-be husband, Zach, and sweet pup, Mobi. Casey’s passion is walking alongside parents on their journey with their autistic child. This passion has grown tremendously as she has continuously experienced the yearning of mothers and fathers to do all that it takes for their babies without meaningful and proper support. Casey’s inspiration stems from the outpouring of love she can witness in a parent’s dedication to their child and the courage it takes to get back in it with them every single day. Casey's private practice, SOTB, includes a team of 8 pediatric therapists all on a similar mission rooted in connection. Each therapist at SOTB follows a child-directed, developmental approach, building upon a child’s interests and prioritizing needs based on functionality, as it is their goal to increase their child’s success in interacting and feeling safe within their everyday world. Casey's team inspires acceptance and connection over compliance and instills neurodivergent affirming, trauma-informed practices. Their purpose stems from a deep yearning to build connections within themselves, the children they serve, their parents, our community, and our world. Casey is inspired by conscious parenting models, spiritual psychology, embodiment exercises, sensory processing, "parts work" or IFS, and healing childhood trauma pertaining to a parent and a child’s growth in relationship, nervous system, and social-emotional skills. She strongly believes that a parent and therapist's attunement to their own healing directly impacts a child's progress. For this reason, she is dedicated to embedding these philosophies into her parent coaching sessions and team mentorship.
