Carrie Hutchins

MS, CCC-SLP
Carrie Hutchins, MS, CCC-SLP, earned both her BS and MS degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Kentucky University. With nearly 15 years of experience as a school-based speech-language pathologist, she is passionate about language intervention, professional issues, and educational policy within school settings. Carrie is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research focuses on understanding the influential role of the environment—including home, social, and educational contexts—and the implementation of language and literacy interventions for children with language disorders in public schools.
