Dr. Gunn, MEd, SLPD, CCC-SLP, has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for 13 years. Angelica received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Spelman College and her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of West Georgia. In 2019, she earned her doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University. Her culminating project was titled Interventions for Executive Functions Ages 3-22: A Systematic Review.
Angelica has practiced in a variety of settings, including private practice, hospitals, home environments, post-acute care, and community re-entry. She has experience assessing and treating adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with a wide range of communication disorders, including but not limited to aphasia, executive functioning challenges, receptive and expressive language disorders, dysarthria, cognitive communication disorders, dysphagia, and brain injury.
She currently specializes in treating pediatric and adult clients with executive functioning weaknesses and disorders.
