Angie Dupree is a school-based speech-language pathologist who has worked in a variety of settings, including in-home early intervention, private practice, a TBI clinic, and skilled nursing facilities. Her passion for yoga and breathwork began as a personal practice long before it became part of her clinical work. Having experienced firsthand how breathwork transformed her own stress and nervous system regulation, she was inspired to bring these tools into the SLP field, bridging the physiological science of breath with practical, appropriate, and effective techniques clinicians can use with their caseloads. As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and Certified Breathwork Facilitator, she created Beyond the Larynx: Breathwork for Communication and Nervous System Regulation to help fellow SLPs confidently apply breathwork to support treatment outcomes. She shares additional breathwork resources for SLPs on her Instagram @the.breathwork.slp.
