Anastasia Raymer, PhD., CCC-SLP, is a professor in the Department of Communication Disorders and Special Education at Old Dominion University. She received her BS Ed in Communicative Disorders at the University of Wisconsin and her MA and PhD in Speech Pathology at the University of Florida. For the past 40 years, she has been engaged in research to optimize rehabilitation outcomes in neurologic communication disorders. Her work has been supported by the NIH and the Dept. of Defense. She has published more than 75 papers and chapters and has given hundreds of talks nationally and internationally. She is the past president of the Academy of Neurologic Communication Disorders and Sciences and past coordinator of Special Interest Group 2 of ASHA and is a Fellow of ASHA.
