Amy Banks, PT, DPT, NCS, CBIS, is a board certified neurologic clinical specialist serving as the clinical director of the Neurologic PT Residency at the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center. As a certified brain injury specialist Amy works within an interprofessional team treating Veterans with mild to moderate brain injuries. Amy is an adjunct instructor at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Allied Health within the Physical Therapy Department. She has served two terms as Secretary on the board of the APTA Federal Physical Therapy Section and is currently the membership chair. Amy received an emerging leader award from the APTA in 2016 and a distinguished alumni award from the University of Cincinnati in 2017.
