Allie Mataras, MA, CCC-SLP, CBIS, has treated patients with dysphagia across acute care, subacute, LTAC, and inpatient rehabilitation settings. She is a member of ASHA’s Special Interest Group 13 (Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders), the Dysphagia Research Society, and the New Jersey Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
A three-time ASHA ACE Award recipient, Allie is recognized for her dedication to continuing education in the field of dysphagia. She has successfully implemented and managed Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) programs at the corporate level and is the co-founder of FEESible Swallow Solutions, a New Jersey-based mobile FEES company.
Allie is especially honored to be part of the Dysphagia Outreach Project, as she wholeheartedly believes that all individuals with dysphagia should have direct access to the tools essential for managing their condition and improving their overall quality of life.
