Samantha Dudding, M.S., CCC‑SLP, is a speech‑language pathologist and special education leader whose work centers on culturally responsive communication within school‑based special education processes. She is currently a Student Support Coordinator in a school district just outside of Washington, DC where she facilitates special education processes, supports multidisciplinary teams, and leads professional development focused on inclusive practices.
Samantha is also an EdD student in Leadership and Organizational Innovation at Marymount University, where her research examines equitable communication with culturally and linguistically diverse families in special education. Her work bridges clinical expertise, organizational leadership, and a deep commitment to family partnership—positioning her at the intersection of practice and systems‑level change.
Across her career, Samantha has served in public schools, private day programs, early childhood settings, and pediatric home health. She has supervised graduate clinicians, coordinated extended school year programs, and presented at state and national conferences on neurodiversity, developmental language disorder, and strengths‑based intervention. Her scholarship includes peer‑reviewed publications in the American Journal of Speech‑Language Pathology and the Journal of Child and Family Studies.
Samantha is the recipient of the 2026 Arlington Public Schools All Star Award for her service to students and families. She is an active member of ASHA and has participated in state‑level leadership and advocacy initiatives.
