Aaron Ziegler, PhD, CCC-SLP, is Co-Director of *The Wellness Group for Voice, Speech, and Swallowing* and a leading clinician-researcher in the field of voice science. He earned his PhD in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh under Dr. Katherine Verdolini Abbott, and holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University. He also completed a certificate in Vocology from the National Center for Voice & Speech under Dr. Ingo Titze.
Dr. Ziegler is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at both *Pacific University* in Forest Grove, Oregon, and *The University of Ghana* in Accra. His clinical training includes a fellowship at the Emory Voice Center and practice at the University of Pittsburgh Voice Center and Tripler Army Medical Center, where he contributed to a multidisciplinary craniofacial team.
His clinical and research interests include vocal aging, gender-expansive voice and communication, and vocal injury prevention and treatment. He co-developed *Phonation Resistance Training Exercises (PhoRTE)* to address age-related voice changes, with research supported in part by NIH funding. Dr. Ziegler has served as Associate Editor of Vocal Health and Science for the *Voice and Speech Review* (VASTA) and is an ad-hoc reviewer for multiple academic journals. He was also a member of the voice topic committee for ASHA’s 2018 Convention.
A frequent speaker in the U.S. and abroad, Dr. Ziegler co-founded the *Confident Clinician Cooperative, LP* and is a regular guest on podcasts, where he shares insights on voice therapy, interdisciplinary care, and clinical innovation.
