Linda, EdD, MS Reading, MS, CCC-SLP, is a distinguished speech-language pathologist and literacy specialist with a strong foundation in research and clinical practice. She received the Jeanne S. Chall Visiting Researcher Award Grant from the Harvard Graduate School of Education (2013) and the Roland J. Van Hattem Award (1998) for her contributions to literacy and language development.
As a reading fellow, Linda mentored educators through a series of research-to-practice grants under the auspices of Haskins Laboratories. Her doctoral thesis, RTI for Language: Explicit and Systematic Intervention for Narrative Discourse Skills in Kindergarten, along with her postdoctoral work on phases of word learning, informs her current global efforts to improve language and literacy instruction.
Linda provides teletherapy for children with language-based reading difficulties and consults with schools to support students with dyslexia and related challenges. She is also an author and consultant for several reading and language intervention programs, bridging research and practice to elevate outcomes for diverse learners.
