Fernanda Astudillo, MS, SLP, is a licensed bilingual speech-language pathologist. She is currently working as a school-based SLP in addition to private practice with 8 years in the field. She finished her degree in speech-language pathology in 2016 in Chile. She earned a master's in education the following two years. During the pandemic, she worked in a hospital with a certification in speech therapy management in the critical patient unit. In 2021, She continued her career in the area of child development and initiated her journey as a school-based SLP in California. In addition to her work at school, she has been providing services for children on the autism spectrum privately, at Proficio Speech Therapy Group. Fernanda is constantly developing her skills in speech therapy for those on the autism spectrum as well as alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) for gestalt language processors. She also currently educates parents and school employees on AAC and communication strategies.
