Benjamin Bennett, MS, CCC-SLP, ATACP, is the AAC Specialist at Escondido Union School District (EUSD), where he has worked for nearly a decade. He assesses and implements Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems for students with complex communication needs. Benjamin provides training to parents and professionals on integrating AAC into daily life. Previously, he was a speech-language pathologist focusing on bilingual therapy for Spanish-English speakers. Benjamin serves as the San Diego County district director on the California Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA) board and has delivered many professional development courses in AAC. He strives to simplify complex concepts to make AAC accessible and empowering for everyone involved. Passionate about helping AAC users reach their full potential, Benjamin is dedicated to breaking down stigmas and fostering resilience in the AAC community.
