Dr. Lesley Sylvan, EdD, CCC-SLP, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Montclair State University, where she also serves as Program Director for the master’s degree in speech-language pathology. A certified speech-language pathologist, Dr. Sylvan brings extensive clinical experience working with school-aged children in both public school and private clinical settings.
She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Policy and Management and a Doctorate in Human Development and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her scholarly work explores the intersection of education and speech-language pathology, with a focus on improving outcomes for students through integrated clinical and educational approaches.
