Michael Rippee attended medical school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and graduated in 2007. He attended neurology residency at the University of Kansas and then completed a 1 year fellowship in vascular neurology. He also developed interest in concussion during the final years of residency. He spent the first few years of his career working with the stroke and inpatient services at the University of Kansas Health System as well as seeing concussion patients in clinic. In summer, 2018 he turned his focus entirely to concussion and sports neurology. He has worked with all levels of athletes and sees a wide range of patients. He is active in research in many areas related to concussion. He is an avid sports fan and has a beautiful family that he loves spending time with.
