Melissa Kurrle, MA, CCC-SLP, earned her BA in Modern Languages with a Spanish emphasis and a minor in Linguistics from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2014. She completed her MA in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Kansas in 2017 (Rock Chalk!). Melissa began her career working in skilled nursing facilities in Flagstaff, AZ, serving patients from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. She currently enjoys working in outpatient therapy in her home state of Colorado, with a special passion for aphasia and dysphagia. Before pursuing speech-language pathology, Melissa was a massage therapist for 15 years. Outside of work, she loves riding vintage Italian scooters, traveling, hitting the gym, backpacking, canyoneering, kayaking, camping, and embracing any outdoor adventure that comes her way.
